| well in the title really i cant remember watching a more boring derby game as that, very slow and mistakes everywhere. we really could of put a score on saints today if we got out of 1st gear.

| Saints were absolutely awful and thats what made it so boring, we werent even that good ourselves and won quite easily. Lomax has to be the most overated youngster in the game, the amount of overlaps he blew when the ball just needed to go through the hands was unreal.

| Saints were absolutely shocking, a team in (very quick) decline if i ever saw one.
We weren't at our best, but we had at least two more gears if needed

| I'll not complain after that. It's very rare we have a poor and dull derby so I'll take being on the right side of it and move on.

| This is what happens when you play mid-table opposition. You get dragged down to their level.

| A wins a win. We were sat across the aisle from the Saints fans in the East and the banter more than made up for the quality of the game.

| We made far too many mistakes that could easily have cost us. It was frustrating to watch, plus we didn't look d at times. The players looked shattered at the end. Also, Sam is getting wrapped up so easily now. I'd really like us to try him back in the halves so he can use his creativity more rather than getting wrapped up nearly every time he joins the line.

If he passed it a little more he wouldnt be as predictable. There are so many times when we have a overlap and he steps and tries to go himself. If he varied his play more it would work more often when he does go himself.

| Saints' attack was absolutely atrocious. Featherstone would have beaten them today. Saints fans were saying our defence is vulnerable prior to the game - it was outstanding, but their attack was awful. They only scored off a lucky bounce for their first try. We just put on some simple plays and scored without anyone laying a finger on us. Finchy just highlighted how Wellens has quickly become one of the worst fullbacks in the league. Poor in defence, terrible positioning and offers zero threat in attack. I think Shaun Wane would be able to run on the pitch and round him one on one. Soliola tried some filthy disruptive tactics throughout the match, Perry is great for a couple of penalties every derby and Lomax fails again to produce anything in a derby - what a terrible halfback under pressure. He's as much vision as Stevie Wonder - awful in defence too. Their pack is about as threatening as a litter of kittens and they've as much aggression as Gandhi. And they call Sam Tomkins 'rat boy', they need to take a look at Gary Wheeler - he makes Susan Boyle look like Beyonce. He'd make onions cry that lad.
As for us, we were poor by our standards. Our defence was up to the ask, our attack was simple, discipline with and without the ball was atrocious, but we won at a canter. A derby to forget, but a victory all the same.

| It was a poor game. Too many errors all round but won at a canter. I don't think we ever looked like losing it. Disappointing game but made up with the win.

Looking back on it, Wigan basically eased off the gas in the last ten and Saints still couldn't score.
I'm not sure what the rest of SL has been up to, but I find it hard to believe that we're the only team who's beaten them since Rush and Cunningham took over.

| You can only play the dross in front of you... Their only achievment during the game, was bringing us down to their level.... Stains are a sack of shiite at the moment... Love it.
