We'll have to be on our game early doors because I'm expecting them to come out of the traps at 100mph.
Interesting to read Logan Tomkins in the LE saying he played their in a losing Widnes side last year and how the Fev team try to win games via intimidation. He said he'd love another crack at them with this Wigan team because that tactic simply won't work.
On this years form it'll take one heck of a nasty pack to intimidate ours! They've played like animals this year.

Can't remember us being overly intimidating, can just about remember the Widnes pack being absolute rubbish when we played them at their place!

It will be the biggest upset in Challenge Cup history If you loose to Featherstone.Saints lost to them in the cup in the late 50s early 60s and people of my generation still talk about it.Wigan by at least 30 pts.I know we lost to them again in the 70s when they went on to win the cup.That will never happen again.Not in my lifetime. |
