| In todays local paper wane as said he will be sendind video evidence of the referees mistakes in the loss to Warrington! the big thing is that refs will continue to make mistakes and linesmen because they are human.

| I think everyone is in agreement that the referees have been poor this season particularly Silverwood. Refs are only human and they're prone to make mistakes and only give things that they see but if more coaches/club officials do this and it's treated in a constructive way rather than just being treated as sour grapes, it should help the RFL identify what/who needs working on.

| He does right. All SL coaches should compile a video detailing the referees mistakes from that weeks match and send it to the RFL. The players are accountable for their mistakes, it's only right the ref's should be too. We might just then get a concerted effort to raise the reffing standards.

| From a Neutral point of view he's entiled to. Firstly the ball that Finch picked up when a Wolves player lost in tackle should have been allowed to run and score and the ref could have looked at the screen after which would have been a try. Also the Briers interception he's a foot offside from play of ball. Pedantic i know but this would have been a penalty to Wigan instead of a try to Wolves. Think the stigma of using the vid has got to some refs and they are hastily awarding trys.

| Still think John Monie's saying was right.
"Only complain about the referee when you win"
Seems just wrong to do it only when you lose.
Why didn't Waney do this after the Cas away game?
The ref (Child I think) was dreadful and a video then could have done a great deal of good. Child was far worse at Cas than Silverwood was v Wire.
How many calls will Stuart Cummings get from losing coaches compared to complaints from those who have won.

| I haven't got a problem with that - I don't blame the ref for our defeat on Friday, and I'm sure Wane doesn't too.
In games we've had this year, some referees have been abysmal for both sides - it's not good enough.

| There's a difference between blaming the ref for a loss, and deciding enough is enough and that mistakes need to be pointed out.
I don't hear Wane blaming the ref for the fact that we lost due to a stupid 'take the two' decision early doors, Paul prescott's unforced error leading to Warrington's first try, Leuluai slinging a pass out to Briers (yes, we know Briers was offside) that he scored from, and Lauaki being a diick for the last ten minutes.
That old chestnut was brought up again yesterday on Radio Manchester, whether we should have two referees like the NRL.
NO! Christ no!
We already have a ref, two linesmen, two goal judges, a match commissioner and a timekeeper at non-televised games. Televised games don't have the goal judges of course, but that's still a massive SEVEN officials officiating ONE game!
What's wrong with the linesmen being the ones to make offside decisions at the play the ball? They're ideal for that, one of the touch judges is in line with the defence and can see ALL the players, something the referee can't do. Indeed, if this happens why does the referee need to be in the defensive line at all? He'll be more use policing the ruck.
So, one linesman watches the defensive line, the ref polices the ruck and watches for markers standing square and a correct play the ball, whilst the other linesman look at the attackers. Why would that not work?

| I don't think that it is a terrible idea, so long as he highlights any mistakes made towards both teams.
If Wane goes to the RFL and goes "look Briers was offside. Also you will see here that Hock did a high shot that the ref didn't give (random example not a go at hock)", he will look like he is concerned about the standard of reffing.
If he just goes "wire did this wire did that" looks like sour grapes.

| There's been plenty of bobbins ref performances this season when we've won, he should have sent the evidence before now. It looks like sour grapes, even if it isn't.
By all accounts the relationship between Cummins and the coaches has completely broken down. If that is the case the coaches should be tabling a vote of no confidence to the RFL about it.
If he's sending out videos to highlight mistakes lets hope he sends one to Eric for Friday and one to himself with the team sheet against Widnes.

| He wasn't brilliant for either team and wasn't the reason we lost. There were a few dodgy decisions that could have proved crucial though. The mains ones being
1. Briers offside before intercept
2. The ref calling play on when Morley stole the ball off Finch in the tackle
3. Hodgson's winning penalty being taken 6 or 7 yards closer to the sticks than where the incident took place.
4. The call that Charnley took Riley out in the air when it could have easily been a penalty to Wigan for offside.
There were probably plenty of others against both teams but those are the main ones that I feel we were badly done to and either directly led to Wire scoring points (1+3) or prevented us from having a points scoring opportunity (2+4).

I'm pretty sure Madge has spoken to Stuart Cummings about decisions too. Most coaches will at some point.
