I hope Simmons stays, they have some talent at St Helens and a decent coach could make them competative, but this joker won't no matter how long he trys , so i hope he gets a new 10yr deal

What the hell is going on with saints. Can see a knee jerk Simmons Out campaign. I knew Graham would be a huge miss surely it wouldnt have this big an effect. granted Roby is out but there is plenty of talent in that team to be consistent.

Illustrates the huge problem with Super League that Saints' early season struggles has absolutely no impact on their ability to win the title.

If there was a top 5 or even top 6 system maybe this wouldn't be the case.

If second place is what you seek , then i take my hat off to you...well done..Even last season you could see that Saints were about to sink like a stone...fair play you got to the final again, but were totally outclassed by an average Leeds side...there is no way that you will be in any final this year under your current coach!

My thoughts exactly. The fact Leeds were crowned champions after the start they had last year makes a mockery of the competition. Cullen was spot on when he said that neither coach will be particularly ar*ed about loosing. Their main concern will be keeping their players healthy.

I don't think Saints fans will be bothered if you gloat, you had to be there tonight to know how bad it was.
