I'll second that. Was an important part of our championship and cup winning campaigns, but I think his career has taken it's toll. Wish him luck in his coaching career. |

Will be missed, but glad he's taken the decision now.
He was taking too many big hits to the head (mostly self-imposed whilst tackling) and I would rather he steps up to the coaching staff with all his faculties in tact.

Did a lot better for you than I expected, I thought he would be mainly coaching and never expected him to pull on his boots so many times. He's been an asset to SL.

His interview after the CC final was a real indicataion he was about to retire.
Think of all he has done nothing got close to winning the CC this season for him. One of the truly great players in SL whose days judt over 2 years ago were numbered. One hell of a way to go winning the CC and GF with the team you supported. Think his life would be a better movie than Gareth Thomas.
Was instrumental at the end of last season in the GF win.

He's nowhere near as good as Mellor or Powell. It would definitely be a mistake to take Leuluai away from the hooking role where he's been pretty good this year. McIlorum and Tomkins at hooker wouldn't strike fear into a Championship side. |
