Wire should be far too good for Leeds but Leeds spoiling tactics may make the game a lot closer than people think, particularly if the appallingly bad refereeing that has blighted this play-off series continues. If Leeds are given as much leeway as Catalans were against us then it could be interesting.

Expect McGuire and Bailey in particular to do their usual.

Leeds could trouble them with the form they're in but Wire will win comfy enough in the end.

Wire are obviously big favourites to win the whole thing but you never know how teams will cope with a final. On the big stage with 75000 on fighting for a trophy you believe deserved to be yours can do funny things to a team.

I hope Warrington beat the out of em. Everything about Leeds stinks. Bailey getting warned 4,575 times for the same offence is a prime example. I would much rather play Warrington if we are lucky enough to get through even though it would be a tougher game.

i think warrington have done a daft thing in picking leeds if it was my call i would have picked us.the reasons behind that,home advantage and a bigger support at home.if we meet at ot they do not have home advantage and we will have a lot more fans than them.also we have been there before and got the t shirt which counts for a lot.silly call wire.

I can't help thinking that the club call team are in a no-win situation. For me it's a complete gimmick, but also, potentially, a costly one. Whoever you pick will be antagonised by the decision, so all you can really do is either flip a coin or go for the lower-placed team - only in those circs will you not give them extra reason to do you. The whole thing is nonsense, in my opinion, and the sooner we do away with it, the better.

However, I'd have been amazed if Warrington had chosen us. Whatever anyone says about our recent form, we are still a better team than Leeds, and Wire know this - imagine how they'd have felt if they'd failed to reach another final in 2011 because Wigan denied them. At least if they lose to Leeds, they could argue they chose the weaker team.

are u havin a laugh saying you will bring more fans, you might have been there before and got the t shirts but you certainly wont bring more fans, wire v wigan semi at widnes, wigan sent there tickets back and wire ended up buyin them, the stadium was a 3 to 1 ration wire over wigan, and some wires were even in the wigan end.

Warrington are rightly favourites to win the GF, as their record this season proves. However, the Leeds team which coughed and sneezed its way through to the summer is a far cry from the Leeds of the last couple of weeks.

It's all about timing and confidence Pie People, nowt is won in March, and we are seeing flashes of the old and yes, arrogant style of play which brought us so much success in the past. Including the obligatory forward passes! If we could cut them out it would be worth another 2/3 tries a game!

Do I think we can beat an on form Wire? No, not this year, but I think the game will be a lot closer than previous encounters, so I'll settle for a cracking game of RL. Just a shame we weren't playing your lot.....I would have been confident about that one!
