| Just finished reading his autobiography and it is almost a year to the day since we lost him.
What he did with the drugs was stupid, but he owned up and I honestly don't think anyone thought any the worse of him.
He seemed like a great family man and very well liked by his playing colleagues.
Thankfully the RL have set up the ' Mind' campaign so hopefully further tragedies will be avoided
I saw the video on Sky to promote this, and well done to Adrian Vowles,Kris Radlinski and Dale Laughton for appearing on it and revealing their thoughts and fears when their playing days were over.
I don't suppose they read this forum but I would like to wish Terry's parents, wife and two girls all the best for the future too
RIP Tez

Yeah, just checked. Looks like the playoffs have been pegged back a week this year.

They have indeed. Seems weird having summer rugby and then finishing in the cold and rain to be honest. We should finish ealier.
Anyway, that week after the Leeds game was very strange, fans of Wigan on a high and low at the same time. Emotions didn't know what to do during the minutes silence pre game, weird feeling!
Like the OP says, lets hope this doesn't happen to any other RL players.

I was queuing up for GF tickets when people were talking about it. A hard-hitting moment and really put things into perspective after being in such a joyous mood all day.

| Was at the Lancashire v Yorkshire BARLA game at Warrington. A rumour started going roung that Terry had been found dead. Later the afternoon, Andy Gregory who was at the game confirmed it. Changed a good day into a horrible one. As a Trinity fan i was glad he`d signed for us, shame it turned out like it did.

| Anyone heard anything more about the memorial match for him?
Heard it had been put back till October as some SL players wanted to play but their clubs wouldn't release him

| RIP Terry, gone but never forgotten.
I'm still very saddened by this tragedy and just wish that something could have been done to save him.

I think a Lancashire vs Yorkshire game would be fitting tribute to Terry. As a Lancashire Lad who spent most of his playing career in Yorkshire, it would be most fitting. I'd say play it at Wigan - but i'm not sure Kaiser Dave will allow that. So either Leeds or Bradford would be a good place to stage it. All proceeds to Terry's Family & State of Mind.
Also it would serve as a warm up for some of our guys for the four nations.
Play it the week after the GF. I'm sure it would be well attended.

There's an England Knights game against France at the LSV the week after the Grand Final so would presumably feature all those who aren't playing the week before.

I've just finished reading his autobiography and I am struggling to get my head around it all.
As you say, wish someone could have spotted the danger signs and saved, what seems like, an incredibly likeable and popular guy.
If a game is fixed up somewhere in Wigan ,Orrell,St Pats,St Judes or DW we will happily come across from Leeds
