| Not much of a shock but he's confirmed to Wish FM that this season will be his last.

Shame, but as you say, not a shock. Wish him luck in his future and new career, he's been a great player for us.

| Was a little gutted to hear this but as you say no surprise. I do think that this year has been a good your for him and think that he will be missed done a job in the absence of Feilden.

| One of the most under rated signings of the SL Era. I think hes retiring at the right time though. Hopefully go out on a high.

| Great that a player is able to do that instead of dragging out every last ounce of his career. Decent job to go to as well. Been a good SL player for many years.

| Good on him. He's had a good career at Wigan and before that Salford. He showed great loyalty to Salford when he turned down Wigan 3 years before finally signing (which is why I found the reaction of the Salford fans strange to say the least when he did finally join).
We can hopefully send him along with Maguire and The Hoff out on a real high with a winners medal or 3 tucked away.

Sounds very much like a certain Shaun Wane. Coached the kids at the club whilst having a full-time job.
Hopefully, things might go in a similar dircetion for Andy.
Very well spoken, intelligent guy, who should do well if he wants to carve a coaching career (even if it would need to be a part-time one - at least initially)
Good luck Andy in whatever you choose to do.

| Good call, thanks for all the memories Andy, hope you go out with a bang! Big chance for Lee Mossop to step up and will help O'Carroll, Davies, Hughes and Crosby get a bit more game time

| With a bit of luck this means that we'll see a bit of more of the Coleys down here in Wiltshire next year.

To be honest I didn't think he played "that" well for us for quite some time since his signing. Then one day, we played Salford away and he had a stormer...never looked back since.
Think it was this game:

I do feel he's one of the players who seems to be have been transformed most since the arrival of MM.
We miss him when he's not playing and he'll be tough to replace.

| Sometimes when a player performs consistently well week after week, we as fans take them for granted but without players like Andy Coley doing the hard graft Wigan as a team would be a weaker unit. It's only when they are injured we realised how much the team misses them.
Good luck for the future Andy, hope you can go out with some winners medals.
