| Problem is that the RFL don't have an offence code for "punching the smallest player on the opposition AND THEN RUNNING AWAY LIKE A LITTLE GIRL" so there was no chance he would get charged

| Regardless of the Leeds fans who will soon inundate this with claims of us Wigan fans creating incidents -
I think many fans, players and coaches alike have come to see the disciplinary process in RL as a farce.
I think the most telling thing in this weeks citings is Lee Smith'shttps://www.therfl.co.uk/disciplinary/item?2884rl
This suggests to me that there was at least the makings of "a chicken wing"? Considering Tuson was banned for seemingly less last week it again raises the question of consistency; as does the purported claim that Bailey was twice warned by Alibert to "keep his knees down when running into the tackle" in the first half and yet nothing has been done.
Whilst I agree with the sentiment, Coley shouldn't have gone running in according to the laws of the game and therefore a one game ban should be expected. I would however wonder if his record may come into use, as I'm unaware of any previous violent incidents?
I don't think there could be any complaint from any fan, player or coach if things were consistently penalised and it didn't come across that some teams and players seem to be exempt from the disciplinary process.

| Having watched the scuffle again, Coley will get banned but Webb should also be banned. Bailey is the first man in after McGuire but doesn't throw a punch (love how superman deals with him though )
Again shows why it was stupidity from Sam to take the tap. Taking the two would have meant a 28-24 win, better points difference (if only by a few), no scuffle and therefore no ban, plus everyone would have got home about a minute earlier. As Bilko said in his report, Sam is a brilliant player but to take the tap at that stage in the game was just plain stupid, if Coley gets banned and we struggle against cas it could cost us top spot. The only time I would see a tap acceptable would be if we needed 3 points more to go top of the league or something.
I am seriously worried about going into the Cas game with 3 props.

| I've heard they're all out to get Wigan. Is that true?
The shadowy man next to the grassy knoll told me.

It's true, there's a Yarkshire agenda to "get" Wigan - somebody made Coley throw a punch.
Given some of your contract extensions I'd be more worried that Hetherington is out to get Leeds.

He got a game ban for his high shot away at Catalan last season having been sent off for it as well. That one was, at least, whilst the match was in progress rather than an off-the-ball incident, but it does mean that his card has been marked in the past twelve months or so, as it were.

Pretty sure Coley got a one match-ban after his sending off against Catalans last year. Think he missed the Wire game at home the week after

Bailey didn't do anything to get banned for. Didn't have the plums to throw a dig at anyone then bricked himself once Pat got hold of him. Don't think he likes Aussie wingers much. Remember Matt King having a field day with him a few weeks back

Correct - Taking everything into consideration the whole scenario is a very unlike Wigan under Maguire.. and going on what you say, seemingly 'Nothing situations' like this can have far reaching consequences for the season.. as daft as it sounds!

| What bothers me about the RFL is that they issued a warning to Bailey last week, the Bradford game, for lifting his knees whilst carrying the ball into the tackle. Last Friday he did the same and Alibert warned him during play.
The RFL have not done anything about this latest incident which is very odd!
Also why give a player a warning for that! He should be penalised at least!

He did there was a case of raising knees and of "undue pressure" that was posted in another thread that was worse than the one that Burrow has actually been cited for. Its because they know if they take Bailey to the disciplinary two weeks in a row someone may actually have to ban him for it. Whereas Burrow hasnt been recently so they can ban Coley and give Burrow a "good disciplinary record" slap on the wrists.
