Hopefully this is not the "kiss of death" but it should give us a top two finish.

Dont suppose you can ever tell really. On paper we should win at least 6 with some tough games against Hull FC away and Warrington away. But you never know. We could just as easily end up losing every single one if we go in with the wrong mindset.

We'll finish in the top 2, that I have no doubt.

I'd just love us to finish top again. In terms of the playoffs it doesn't make much difference but it would be great for the kudos and to retain the shield. May be a minor prize but its a prize.

IF we are on 31 points next Saturday and Huddersfield have failed at Warrington - they ain't clawing a 5 point gap back in a million years. Top 2 would be assured I think for both Wigan and Warrington. Big if of course but we'll see.

Providing Wigan win on Wednesday, they should be in a very strong position for a top two position.

I'm confident of a Wigan win on Wednesday it's the following game at Quins that has me worried.
We have had a midweek game and they haven't.
I know they are struggling but if ever there was a banana skin fixture this is it.
It will need good squad rotation and team selection to get the next four league points of Cas and Quins.
The squad is good enough and they will no doubt win them, a midweek fixture then playing a team who hasn't played mid week is a very difficult ask!

I can see quite a bit of rotation in the Cas and Quins games. Wouldn't be surprised to see:

Farrell
Goulding
Marsh
Crosby
Mellor
L Tomkins

get game time during the next week.

I think we'll finish top by a point, as Rogues said Wire have a more difficult run in and will struggle at Catalans.

All this Warrington loving, I can understand people being impressed with how they are playing but we go top on merit if we win Wednesday, people seem to forget Wire have lost 5 games this season, we have only lost 3. The table doesn't lie, we havn't hit our peak yet, and we are 3/4 of a way through the season.

get cas and quins out the way, we have 6 games left......wheres the season gone?

im expecting to win all 5 home games.......cas, wakey, salford, bulls and crusaders..= 10 points.......and with others taking points of each other......top 2s nailed on.

cant see quins being a problem..they are awful.
hull.......should edge it.
wire....could decide who finishes top....or...if wire slip up....we could be going into it 3 points clear.

The CC will have a massive bearing on who wins the league. If Wire beat us in the QF they are favourites to win the cup, that means they have two more games than us to play in the run up.

The week before Wembley they have got Catalan away and the week after the final they have got us at the HJ, then their final game of the season is Hull away, thats an hard run in. If they go to Wembley we have got a weeks rest, I can see us beating them and topping the league.

Of course the opposite is true, if we beat them in the cup and get through the semis they are nailed on to win the league. Also we shouldn't underestimate the other clubs left in the cup, it will be an interesting end to the season.

i think you will find we are favourites anyway

ITS NOT a minor prize. The shield is won for being best over a couple of dozen games throughout a long season,the Grand final can be won for winning 2 or 3 games. People seem to put more importance on the GF but for me the reality of winning something over several months is a lot more deserved.

If we beat Huddersfield, then it's probably a 2 horse race with you marginal favourites because of your run in. I think that you can all but discount Leeds, they are just too far back now. The fact is that if we win every game (and I don't think we will), then we'll be top. Could be a very tight finish.
