Just watching the game again and I think HH deserves a special mention.

He dislocated his finger in a tackle, went to the sideline, had it slotted back in carried on playing. Got a nasty gash on the back of his head that was píssing blood went to the sideline, changed his shirt and put a head guard on, then carried on playing. At the end of the match blood was actually coming through the head guard!

None of this affected his performance and for me he is getting better each week. I wouldnt swap him for any other Second Row in the league, (except for Westwood who has matured into a world class workhorse these past couple of years) hes so under-rated its unreal. Its good to have the odd flashy back rower like Hock, Manu, Lautiti etc but every team needs someone like HH.

Did you not see that thread a few weeks ago saying he wasnt missed when he was injured and we might aswell get rid? Also having a look on opposition boards these past few weeks, none of them rate him.

Hansen's the type of player you don't really notice until he's not there, and then you miss him. I remember Ian Potter being like that.

Maybe in past years but not this season in my opinion pal. Defensively as good as ever but he's making himself get noticed in attack with good lines and footwork.

ANCIENT AND LOYAL....ALWAYS HAVE BEEN.......ALWAYS WILL BE.:40069.jpg

Its great to see hh getting the plaudits he deserves. He`s been with us through all the transition period from us being a an average super league team to us being grand final champions. Every team needs someone like harrison, strong, tough, hard working forward who will give you everything week in, week out. I admit he is not the first name in this cuurent Wigan team to jump out at you, but he would be one of the first names Madge puts on the team sheet every week. RESPECT TO THE LAD lets hope he is with us for a long time to come.

Runs some cracking lines, and he doesnt half hit hard in the tackle.

Keep it up H.

Obviously a lot of the digs (if not all) about HH are aimed at myself as I stated he wouldn't be missed over his injury period, and in all honesty we won all the games in his absence.

However he's really kicked on lately and is pulling his weight in attack as well as defence. Under recent displays I'd also pick him in the starting 13 under the current line up.

Not the best SR at our club but playing his part non the less.

As we did when Pat was out. The point being we are a better team with both Pat and HH in the side rather than having to play whoever we did in their absence. Which is what people kept telling you and they were right weren't they?
With Pat in the team defo. HH? Not really. What he offers is more replaceable than Pat. However, it's all a matter of opinion, and after last times outing of my thoughts on HH I'll not be going into it again, I do not enjoy being dragged over 11 pages for having a different opinion. Leave it at that.
