I'm not. For me it's the last of the real old days experience for away fans in the SL IMO.
Leeds is the closest but with the open away end it just isn't the same.
Even as a passionate Wigan RL supporter, I will miss that old place dearly

You're the type of fan I posted the link for. As a Saints fan I was sad to see CP go and I assumed that fans of other clubs (especially Wigan) would have been sad to see KR go too. |

That's really sad. Last Good Friday, I took along my camera and got loads of photos all all round the ground. Brilliant old ground, with one of the best atmospheres.

sad to see, some fantastic (and not so fantastic) memories on that ground, more of our heritage gone, but hopefully saints will move on to better things.
like with CP, everytime i drive past tesco, i can still see the pop side and chipboard arms, it will be stange for saints fans to see housing estate, it really tugs the heart strings.
like with any old ground, remember her packed to the rafters during a derby match, not the pale shadow of what she once was

It's funny, every time I drive past Tescos I can't help but just picture how it used to be. Still can't get used to it even now. |
