| Potentially our last game at the Willows, our lads will be hurting from losing the WCC, and I can see Salford on the end of a battering if we get our heads together.
There will however be a few bruised bodys after today, Dont think Gleeson will play. Massive boost to have Lima back into the squad...
Possibly Fielden, Gleeson, Finch & Richards missing, i would go with;
1. Sam
2. Goulding
3. Joel
4. Carmont
5. Amos
6. Deacon
7. Leuluai
8. Lima
9. McIlorum
10. Coley
11. Hansen
12. Hoffman
13. O'Loughlin
14. Prescott
15. Mossop
16. Farrell
17. Tuson
Cant wait, its a nice change to look forward to these games instead of worrying about being embarrassed

Aye, takes abit of pressure off them also, which could work in our favour tbh. Its not easy playing against a team desperate for their first win!

| We must win the next 3 games in super league and get over this loss. We have never lost 2 in a row against Maguire.....
Win the next 3 super league games and we will have had a better start than we did last year!

Don't be too sure, the Wigan players will need to have their heads 100% ready on Friday and not think too much of what what's just gone by.

Indeed. There will be a few disappointed minds in that training ground tomorrow.

| Today will take a lot out of the guys. Expect something similar to last season's visit to Salford - a quietly efficient 18-4 win.

| I'd mix it up slightly, just to freshen things up. Like others have said the WCC would have taken a lot out of the players some more so than others.
Roberts
Goulding
Tomkins
Carmont
Charnley
Sam
Deacon
Lima
Tommy
Coley/Fielden (Give Andy a rest if Stu's fit.)
Farrell
Hansen
Lockers
McLlorum
Mossop
Hoffman
Tuson
Sam at 6, due to how much rough treatment he got bringing the ball back. Give him a break from it for a week possibly permanently, He can still join the line 2nd/3rd playing at stand-off.
I'd drop McLlorum and the Hoff to the bench simply to try and give them a bit of a rest they've both put in massive amounts of effort and energy so far this year.
If we get to a position when were safe with a lengthy period still to play I'd get Lockers off straight away. He went off before half time in the WCC and only came on after 10 minutes or so which is unlike him so there must be some sort of niggle he has.
Give Prescott the week off, from the rumors he was touch and go for WCC and only really got dragged in due to Stu not being fit. He played really well and made great yards throughout as did Mossop and Coley but I'd let him get back fully fit this week.

| Charnley has got to play imo, Gleeson's injury is one I can see getting worse if he's not rested properly and although his defence is something we miss when he's off its quite a narrow pitch at Salford and Charnley is more than an adequate replacement defending as well as being good at finding gaps in attack. There's also the fact that we're likely to get injuries later on in the season and we've had a tendency in the past to just throw young players in at the deep end when it comes to the playoffs having had no real match experience.
Long term I think we'd be better off with Goulding in the centres but to avoid too much disruption I'd keep him on the wing for now but I think Joel is wasted at centre so I'd have him starting on the bench as 2nd row cover.
Sam, Roberts, Carmont, Charnley, Goulding, Deacs, Lulu, Lima, Mc, Coley, Hansen, Hoff, Lockers.. Mossop,
Stu/Prescott, Faz, Joel

He did the same against Bradford. I assume it's just Maguire looking to rotate his second row as he has a wealth of talent there.

| I've never been to Salford before and want to go on Friday as it is probably going to be our last match there. I was thinking of driving, is it easy to park near to the ground or would it be a better option to get the train?

Park and ride on the tram! Stop right near the ground.

| Yup, as above, Ladywell tram station off the M602, stop or two up to Weaste only takes a couple of mins. Straight back on the motorway when you're back to the car after the game. Salford will refund you the money for the Metrolink ticket if you take it to the ticket office, too.
Thought the SL game there last season was the dullest spectacle we were involved in all year, a real snooze of an afternoon, though it was glorious sunshine for the first time in 2010, so a nice afternoon for a couple of pints on the terrace. I expect Friday night will be a bit different...
Salford had looked terrible up to this weekend, but I'll not start getting too worried about them after a win at Wakefield. Should be comfortable, but no room for complacency. We always hit back well after defeats last season though, so I'd hope we'll steam into them. Be good to have Lima and hopefully others back.
