I presume it's due to the pitch being waterlogged? if so and it goes ahead then the game could be a real scrap down the middle.

Just seen on the Bull board that theres snow falling around yorkshire so maybe it's due to that.

We really need this game to go ahead to get us in shape for next week. It's especially important for guys like Fielden, Gleeson, Deacon etc who could do with some more minutes in their legs.

We also could do without having to play 2 midweek fixtures at some point during the season.

I rate the game as 50/50 and I wouldn't advise any Wigan supporters to set off till the picth inspection has given the game the ok.

Not looking too promising.

I'm about 10 miles from Bradford and it's still snowing heavily here. My lad has had football training this morning and played in the snow no problem, the problem is going to be the terracing given no roof where most fans will be. At the moment I can see them calling it off due to "elf and safety".

It's going to keep on snowing here till 3pm accroding to Look North so the question will be can the snow be cleared in time.

It's melting pretty rapidly now. By tea time they'll be now't left. It's not even that cold. The only thing that I think will stop the game is if we have a particularly cold frosty night tonight and the pitch freezes.

Wigan Warriors U20's fixture against Bradford Bulls U20's at Odsal on Sunday has been postponed.

Heavy snowfall overnight has now been cleared from the pitch at the Grattan Stadium, however an early decision has been taken as it is not expected that the wet conditions will sustain two back-to-back games.

At present the First Team game is not in jeapordy, however any updates will be available at wiganwarriors.com

Its very wet, slushy snow. I think its more likely that the game will be postponed due to the pitch being waterlogged rather than the amount of snow on the pitch . The state of the terraces could also be an issue.

Hope it goes ahead but cant say I'm optimistic.
