| Was talking about this with the bloke who said the quote below the other day. Can you recall any classic one liners, anything to do with rugby by coaches, players, commentators, pundits, or fans on the terraces.
My starter for ten is a fans one that happened at Workington Town many years ago. We were watching the game behind the sticks and another Wigan fan behind us was talking absolute *&%^$ all through the match. The half time hooter went and he then said, "thats half time then", to which my mate turned round and said, "that's the first thing you got right all match". Following which he had to shut up as everyone started laughing at him.

| I enjoyed the Crusaders fan at the Huddersfield play off standing up and shouting "You're just a fat Robby Savage" to Eorl Crabtree. The chanting started about 2 minutes later and had me in ters!!

| An Alex Murphy classic.
It was a couple of days before the 1989 Wembley final, and Saints' big solution to having to face Graham Lowe's unstoppable Wigan juggernaut was to pay a ridiculous fee for Welsh Rugby Union's lumbering prop Stuart Evans.
Garry Gration: "How long do you think it will take Stuart to learn the game?"
Murph: "Well, he's got 'til Saturday".

| I haven't got any classic one liners sadly. But I once sat behind two old blokes in the East stand going back about 10 years when the stadium had more or less just opened, and my brother happened to notice that the old bloke in front was wearing a bra. So as you do we couldn't help but stair and to our despair every time Wigan scored the guy would jump up and his T-shirt would ride up his back to reveal a black thong. Needless to say that encouraged our move to the West stand.
Then on a separate incident a friend of mine whilst eating a pie at the JJB happened to flick an inch square piece of pie crust down the back of the T- shirt and coat of the gentlemen in front. It's safe to say I've never seen anyone untuck multiple layers of clothing as quick to retrieve a burning hot piece of pie crust. The guy mellowed eventually after by friend bought him a drink to say sorry.

| I thought Brian Carney announcing on live TV that he was 'as happy as a rabbit with two cocks' was quite funny.
And the name of the player escapes me, but one bloke was awarded man of the match and was approached by the pitchside interviewer to ask how it felt. He replied 'Man of the match? We wus ALL F**KIN man of the match!'

| During a Sky game a few years ago I remember two fans on the terraces at Wakefield holding up signs near the big screen saying "STEVO IS GAY" and "KNOB OUT".
Childish but still very funny.

Quote: Saddened! "
But my favourite was the Wigan fan at Warrington.
The crowd were singing the referees a (*)anker.
He turned to his mate and said "I wish his father had been"
