I was thinking on the way back not only how great this is for us fans but while all the players will obviously be over the moon for some this must be very special.
Andy Coley left Salford to come to the biggest name in Rugby League and must have wondered where he had landed given the way things were with the club. How made up must he be tonight.
Martin Gleeson - Wire reject now with a GF ring and gets on the score sheet.
Paul Deacon who must have thought his playing days were over plays a significant part in the season and wins a GF with his home town club after many years loyal service to Bradford.
Pat Richards who unfortunately picked up a nasty injury tonight is now a dual GF winner in the NRL and SL - must seem a heck of along way from playing out of position under Millward in 2006. MoS to boot (pardon the pun).
And of course Feka - the fans favourite leaves with a GF win under his belt. Great way to sign off.
I must have forgotten someone but I think its great the senior players who have seen the lows have got the big prize.

Not the best kicking display but very entertaining with everyone in the East stand near me doing the Piggy salute. I didnt do it for the one he kicked as I thought it was putting him off.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Fielden and Lockers as well. Lockers has suffered some major blows to his confidence since 2004 and really stepped up to not only become our leader but one of our best players.
Fielden helped keep us up 4 years ago and played a vital role today.
