I think the point was richards didnt go for it full speed because he was drawing donald, once he has noticed carmont being pull back it was too late to get round donald
Well mcguire got his just deserts getting stretchered off

I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.
We let ourselves down tonight. We did what we did against Huddersfield a few weeks ago. Instead of playing well and being the better team, we dropped our discipline to their level and gave away penalties where we shouldn't.
3 matches now, we're capable of FAR better than that.

the only reason Wigan broke in the first place is because Webb was down in backplay , game should have been stopped, also wigan got the penalty they desrved only 20 yards futher forward than it should have been, they had a kick at goal to win the game that they shouldnt have . |
