| Pat needs 1 try to become the 35th player in our history to claim a century of tries for the club. In the Super League era only Jason Robinson, Kris Radlinski and Brett Dallas have claimed over 100 tries in Super League matches for Wigan. A full list of the previous 34 is rlHERErl.
He also needs 41 points in three matches to set a new Super League record for most points scored in a regular season - which was set by our own Andy Farrell in 2000.
He could also be the first Wigan player to be the leagues top try scorer since Kris Radlinski in 2001. Pat has 25 tries with Darrell Goulding and David Hodgson behind him on 23.] Previously Jim Leytham (three times), Joe Miller, Johnny Ring (four times), Lou Brown, Jack Morley, Johnny Lawrenson, Brian Nordgren, Billy Boston (twice), Mick Sullivan, Trevor Lake, Bill Francis, Ellery Hanley, Shaun Edwards, Martin Offiah (twice), Jason Robinson and Kris Radlinski have achieved this.
Barring an unlikely unbelievable turn of form for Michael Dobson, Pat will be the first Wigan player to finish league's top goal scorer since Andy Farrell in 2000. Pat has 124 goals this season in Super League with nearest rival Michael Dobson on 92 goals. Previously Jim Sullivan (16 times), Ted Ward (twice), Hector Gee, Colin Tyrer, Frano Botica (3 times) and Andy Farrell (3 times) have achieved this.
He is on course to be the clubs top try, goal and points scorer for the third season in a row. The only Wigan players previously achieve that were Tom White (1899-1900 - joint top of both tries and goals), Jim Leytham (1906-07) Tommy Howley (1920-21) and Johnny Lawrenson (1944-45 War Emergency Season).
Their is probably more achievements that I've missed out but what a player he has been for us.

Excluding Denis Moran of course...
Seriously though, he should be an absolute shoe-in for MOS.

Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013
Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10172.jpg |

Wasn't he the NRL top winger at Wests? Then Mildred played him at centre in his first season which coincided with our worst season in SL, following the complete deconstruction of the 2004 team, and the signings of McAvoy, Wilkes, James, Botham, Moran, Davico, some bloke who never played because his religion didn't allow it, and probably another couple I can't be bothered to remember. And Danny Tickle was our kicker, so TBH Pat didn't do too well, but thank fook he stayed!!!! He's been fantastic for us, and I can see him having another great year next season.

20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
