| They're struggling aren't they
I stopped reading after someone said Chris Hicks is the best finisher in Super League. Personally, I don't think he comes close to Pat Richards.

| Got as far as the first post. Can't argue with these five.
J. Davies
A. Johns
A. Morley
A. Langer
P. Sculthorpe
Unfortunately I never got to see B. Bevan. I'm far too young

| There are some great players to have worn the primrose and blue of Wire.
Brian Bevan, Laurie Gilfedder, Parry Gordon, John Bevan, Jim Challinor etc

Great players yes but if Andrew Johns had played 4 games for Wigan would we class him as a legend. If any of those 5 had the same scenario but with us instead of Warrington. None would get near our greatest team in my opinion.Alan Langer is a Brisbane legend,Johns-Newcastle,J Davies-More so Widnes,Sculthorpe played at Saints most of his career and I still doubt alot of fans would class him as a Saints legend. Warrington are trying to pinch other clubs legends

I was looking at it as Johns is a legend who played for Warrington rather than him being a Warrington legend.
I suppose you could apply the same logic to the others mentioned.

| Have they won a play-off game since they had Johns in their side?

I suppose thats what I was getting at apart from the other laughable entries.
This brings me onto another point though. Can you be a legend at more than 1 club?

| TBF i probably wouldn't have Hicks in a Greatest XIII but he is as many have said a fantastic finisher on the wing and to say he isn't is Wigan bias in the extreme.

| The greatest try scorer in the history of the game played for the wire as did the first man to win the lance todd trophy twice. These 'small club' jibes don't really wash with me, although i will be the first to admit that if you use these forums as a guide warrington appears to have a high percentage of clueless fans.
