| Sublime, worth the entrance fee alone.

| He's a quality player (as was evidenced by his try scoring record in the the NRL prior to coming over here) and it's great to see him playing to his ability and enjoying his RL over here.

| There was a lot of debate when we first signed this fella.
I freely admit that I was slightly skeptical. It seemed to me that we didn't need an extra three-quarter at the time, and then of course there was the suggestion that Amos's arrival played its part in Ainscough getting dropped. After that, Amos had a fairly indifferent first season. Harsh judgements were being passed.
But if the Amos Roberts we're seeing now is the Amos Roberts Wigan thought they were signing, I'm not surprised they jumped when they did. Who would not want this bloke in their team? And who would not find room to accommodate such a talent, no matter how much shuffling about was required in the existing ranks?

| He was superb in the game today, the constant threat he provides sucks players towards him leaving gaps to either side. I'd have to say had he not been on the field it would have been a hell of a lot closer.
Great win today, a very tough place to go yet to come away with the points yet not play very well is encouraging.
Had pat kicked a few more goals are supremacy would have shone through a little more even though we only played well in spits and spats.

| Last season I was gutted we hadn't stuck with Ainscough for the season. This season I am chuffed he is a Wigan player and I believe we have the two best wingers in the league.

| I wonder whether Amos's performances at FB could possibly make him are first choice, sadly Phelps is having a bad run of luck and he's suffering from it.

When we first signed Roberts, one story was that he'd been brought in to replace Mathers at full back.
I can see why.

Phelps out of contract this year, Amos to fullback and Ainscough on the wing may be a possibility next year.
I'm not saying whether I'm in favor of it or not, but it could be a possibility if Phelps because of injury doesn't get time to show what he can do and earn a new contract.

Could that be an option next season? Especially with Deacon retiring to a coaching role.
1. Amos
2. Ainscough
3. Gleeson
4. Carmont
5. Richards
6. Phelps
7. Tomkins
That looks like the most dangerous set of backs Wigan have had for a looooonnnggg time.

| Amos had a fantastic game today, especially at full back after Phelps left the field. He was involved in just about everything and scored a couple of beauties!! Enjoyed it immensely, shame about the terrible ref
