I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!

| First of all I think we'll win if we continue to do the good thing's we've been doing, defensively we've been superb and with the hopeful return of Phelps adding to are attacking threat I feel we'll have to much for Bradford, particularly if we start Friday's game's as quickly as those gone by. An opening couple of tries in the first ten minutes wouldn't go a miss.

| One exciting thing about this season, I now feel that every fixture is entirely in our own hands.
For the first time in ages, I'm not remotely worried about what the opposition do. No disrespect intended to Bradford, but it's down to us as far as I'm concerned.
If we play as well as we've shown we can, we can beat everyone else in SL.

| Thats very true Cruncher! In years gone by I've gone into games with Saints and Leeds, thinking if they have an off day maybe we can beat them. However this season judging on how we have played so far, if we go into every game with the same intensity we have shown then we wont lose many games this season.

| We've got too much for them in both attack and defence. I'll be disappointed to beat them by less than three scores.

Very big call to make, you not remember Hull FC' start to the season last year? To my knowledge it was t*ts up after a month or so.

20333_1393344959.gif Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

| Bradfords are bobbins, without Matt Orford and Steve Menzies in their squad they would be cannon fodder. Saying that Orford and Menzies aren't exactly grafters and need grafters in the team to do the hard work so they can play their game but with a poor pack and poor backs they are impotent.
Only decent backs are maybe Halley and Kearney who really should be at fullback if they want to do well with Menzies at 6.
They have a crap coach also.
If we don't beat these men by at least 20 there is something wrong.

I can't see where our first loss is going to come from the way we are playing. Sure defeats are inevitable during the season, but I don't have any games down marked as a 'loss' whereas in previous seasons certain games I just didn't expect us to go and win.
My thought on Bradford is the same as everyone elses. It's Wigan's to lose. If we play like we have been playing we should win. I've not been impressed by Bradford at all. The only impressive looking win being against Castleford and apart from their opening day win at Leeds I think they have been very poor and Bradford still managed to leak some soft tries in that game. I think our defence will be too much for them. Orford and Kearney will really have to play out their skin to unlock our defence. Their forward pack is pretty good and Steve Menzies is a class act, but overall 1-17 we are better than them IMO.
Not being cocky or arrogant, but I'm just confident in the way we are playing at the moment. Plenty of interest in this game in terms of away support as well. The coach firm I go with could probably take another coach load there has been that much interest in the match. Never usually like that. My brother who has never been to an away match for at least five or six years is coming to this game. A real buzz around the place at the moment. Let's hope it doesn't have to come to an end!
