Don't players have to do a brain test or something before the season and after injuries like this?

yer there called concussion tests, they have to do little tasks on a computer and the results are compared to when you did it before injury, then a gradious is given as to how server the concussion is.

What he said! Yeah if he goes into a game still concussed and gets another severe bang on the head it can kill him. Very dodgy ground when it comes to the brain and concussions.
