| It could be that £50,000 is left over salary cap money that Leeds haven't spent this year, and they are therefore just dividing up whats left amongst the players if they win.
I don't think it will do them any good, incentive or not, I'm going for Melbourne by 10.
I'll have my Melbourne hat on, on Sunday night, especially now there are sister club.

Maybe my second thought was seeing its not a regular superleague round different rules apply and a win bonus can be paid not counting towards the cap.

| I hope its a good game, with a few scuffles and big hits - maybe even a few Leeds players picking up bans/injuries Would only be good for us

| I think Leeds will turn them over actually.
They've been poor but have had 4 hard fought tussles and will be match fit. In comparison Melbourne have just had a couple of friendlies and a run out over here against Quins with only half a team out. The All Stars game will have done them a favour because it's got a couple of their players some proper gametime but I still don't think it'll be enough.
Leeds by 8.

| Hmm section 5.7.2 of the salary cap rules (5.7 covers exclusions from the cap calculation):
the Gross value of any bonus payments that may Accrue to the Player during the Salary Cap Year if he wins the annual Man-of-Steel award (or any other similar individual award) or any Man-of-the-Match awards in that Salary Cap Year;
So an individual award for Man-of-the-Match (which one, Sky, Sponsor or Press for example) could be to the tune of £10k per match and it's exempt. And annual Man-of-Steel award or simmilar, club level player of the year, is similar to Man-of-Steel is this exempt too?
And then there's one off games like cross-code challenges. Seems many loopholes.
