Really suprised Morley got off tbh. It looked a poor one for me and the sort of challenge they should be clamping down on.
On the positive side I want this game to be as good as it possibly can be and Morley playing will help that.

As if Red Hall was going to ban Morley (the vice Captain of England) any way. He would have had to elbow drop him on the floor, after his headshot just to get a one game ban.  |

I dont understand it to be honest - i thought the charge for carvel was between 2-3 how did he only get one?

Good point. And how did they find Morley "not guilty". 
They are going to appeal Carvell's ban it seems. |

I had my suspicions Morley would get off when I read the charge was just for a high tackle. I'm not sure what you can and can't be charged for but surely it should have included 'late' and even 'off the ball'.
Ah well we shouldn't really care I supose. It's going to be one hell of a game and we should all just look forward to that.

May be because he was?
What SKY never showed was Sherwin immediately jump back to his feet without treatment as soon as Thaler signalled for the video ref. I seem to recall a thread on here bemoaning play-acting creeping into teh game, perhaps Sherwin should have been in-front of the committee for using Morley's reputation to try and get him sent off?
