Not sure if people are aware of this, or indeed interested , but ISC have limited who stocks their shirts this year. Only the Hull, Warrington and Leeds club shops can stock the NRL ISC gear. Down Under Leisure will not be able to stock it anymore.

Personally I'm not a big fan of the polyester shirts so it won't affect me but I'm not sure that it's such a good idea only having 3 outlets for them.

Exclusivity drives prices up, so it will probably benefit them.

As it currently stands the Leeds shop is £5 a shirt cheaper than down under leisure (ignoring sales prices).

It'll only affect me if any of those particular clubs involved with ISC bring out a nice polar fleece, I have a bit of thing for polar fleeces you see.

I do some work for up 'n' under leisure in Hull and they're in the same boat. They can still get Kooga and Classic but they only count for a small portion of the shirts. ISC do most of the NRL shirts and 3 from SL. These shops obviously sell rugby equipment too but I'd imagine the main bit of their business is NRL stuff.

Anyone wanting a big range of stuff with shipping costs no object should try rlMick Simmonsrl based in Aus. When we were in Sydney over the summer we spent an unholy amount of money and time in there, resulting in the shop manager himself rooting around in the bargain bin for Canterbury Bulldogs tea towels and a BBQ apron. He must have thought we were daft Poms. Anyway, we said we'd promote his shop when we returned so here you go.

Interesting to note that they have a croquet section on there, and the front page is comprised substantially of UK football clubs' shirts... They did have phenomenal amounts of NRL stuff though.

Having been in down under leisure today i have been told that they will be selling stuff from ISC next season and going forward, as they have been selling the gear for a long time ISC and DUL have come to a deal that will see DUL continue to sell the brand,
As of next week DUL will have more teams gear for sale and more will follow in the new year.

Good to hear, I'd much rather buy my gear from him than line the pockets of any of are SuperLeague rivals.

We got the tip off from a waiter at one of the restaurants on darling harbour to go there for NRL merchandise. Not the cheapest place in the world (spent an absolute fortune) but was well worth the visit. He even gave us a free 'softie'...........
