Thaler was diabolical in that 2nd Half, messing up the tackle count nearly cost Saints the match.

And would it kill him to award a penaty against Wigan for interference at the PTB, it was almost every tackle there was a flop or hands in.

Overall we had the chances in the 2nd half to get that score ahead we didn't just like saints didnt in the first half

I though mossop and Flanagan were excellent no more than a handful of wigan games between them

Ive got to say i cant remember a match where saints have not made a real break the whole game we had the chances we didnt take them but its good to be up there and competing

Refs have an impossible job now, the game moves so quick and with players adopting the football mentality of milking penalties whenever they can it's becoming silly for the refs.

As for the game, well played both teams, either could have won, though no team deserved to lose really after the effort they both put in.

Thaler was shocking towards both teams.

From a saints fan here, unlucky. That could have gone either way and I thought at 6-4, if we got a kickable penalty, a draw would have been the fair result.

In London, so couldn't make the game. Fair play to both teams - they gave everything in difficult conditions. Saints just got the run of the green when it mattered but credit to them, they kept coming.

As for Hemmings - he reached new lows tonight. He's an embarrassment. An embarassing standard of commentary - the amount of mistakes he makes is unreal. But also an embarrassing level of bias - I lost count of the amount of appaling incidences of favouritism. The ridiculously clear Gilmour 'no try' was the clincher at the end - 'That's a try, that's a try!!' (orgasm).

In fairness Wigan did miss too many chances.
