Karl Pryce was immense, I know it's a step up but I can't see him being too far away from SL.

Played in the centres against Quins the other week. Looked ok but definitely lacked match fitness. Drew in 2/3 players every time.

He came on at standoff against Catalan and picked up a knock in his first tackle. Went off after 15 mins to groans and moans from the Wigan 'faithful'.

He's this seasons scapegoat now Mathers has left and Bailey and Coley are playing well.

Along with Roberts and Riddell.

It's strange how the usual critics haven't been on to praise their displays yesterday.

Roberts form over the past few weeks has been sensational and he's now really looking the part. I read that his family came over about 2 months ago and it's no coincidence that his form has improved dramatically since then.

Riddell is improving week on week also and the good thing is i feel he's got plenty to come. We'll hopefully see that in the big games coming up. I would like to see him work on his fitness a touch over the off season and if he does that i'm happy with him long term.

NK do you not think that this fitness thing is a bit misleading because of his size.

He did another 60 minute stint yesterday, (more than Newton) and didn't look as though he was blowing up.

He certainly got us moving up field again when he came back for his second spell.

Piggy is an easy target for the boo boys and opposition fans that’s for sure and although he hasn’t personally lived up to the high rep he came over with he’s certainly not been that bad.

His fitness however could still be a little better imo. Yes he played a good 60 mins yesterday and did ok but if he got just that little bit fitter I’m sure it would improve him game even more and we’d all benefit from it.

Yeah that was something that I noticed as well and to be fair he didn't seem to get to tired either, to say that they were rotating Newton and Godwin.
