Hi all I have created this topic after recent events because my heart seems to want to rule my head..

It is obvious Mr Lenegan is not going to renew Mr NObles contract after this year, if results don't go our way in either the challenge cup or the superleague.

I think it is pretty obvious that the team is not fully supportive of how things are going, but I am a great believer in negativity breads negativity. So I think for the rest of the season we should leave all the "noble out" negativity until the end of the season and start backing the team and hoping that the last ten games and the semi final give us something to shout about.. I think Mr lenegan is well aware of the feeling amoungst the fans about the inconsistent nature of our results and by approaching other coaches is prepared to sacrifice noble next year if results this year don't go our way.

I just feel that no one is going to be sacked this season (apart from hock) and if we don't unite as one and create a positive attitude then things are going to get worse rather than better.. Brian for the last three years has got our side competing for honour at the end of the season and although I expect noble to go... lets get behind the team and lets stop this negativity and start looking forward to the future whether ultimately its with or without noble..

Come on Wigan, I love this club... the last things I want to happen is all this negativity means we go into the challenge cup tie again Warrington with such a downbeat attitude, because I hate them Warrington b*stards and there is no way they are getting to Wembley by beating us!!

COme on WIGAN, WE are the f*cking warriors and no f*cker is going to stop us!!!

No trees were harmed during the creation of this post. However, a number of electrons were mildly inconvenienced. . Saint94 wrote "Every team is in your feckin shadow....we all know." - Amen to that, brother . Saddened! wrote "We've got the worst backline in the competition, bar possibly London and Wakey. I'd swap our 1-7 with Salford in a heartbeat.":123.jpg

Sorry Steve.......

NO !!!!!

I will back the team whole-heartedly, but I've had it with Noble's lack of tactics and ideas.

I have a feeling this morning.

I think we will turn in a barnstorming performance tomorrow and everybody on this board will be saying how good we are and how we are going to win things.

Dan Sarginson: "This is a fantastic opportunity for me to join the biggest name in the competition" 18/10/2013 Tony Clubb: "This is a new exciting chapter of my life signing for Wigan and I couldn't be happier" 18/10/2013 Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10172.jpg

Now that really is the sort of 'divorced from reality' post that I'd associate with someone who's had a few beers.

After all, being a Wigan fan we have managed to develop the traits of an eternal optomist

at the end of the day, the rugby club is a business and if the customers arent happy - and IL reads the forums to know that we are generally disgruntled - the coach will go. i think Noble is a nice enough guy on TV and he probably does try wholeheartedly but to actually pay and watch the shower of sh&&te we are watching at the moment is ridiculous. He must be seriously flawed when it comes to getting the best of his players. I am not sticking up for the players here as they have to be susceptible but when you are considered to be at the sharp end of your preofession you have got there because of some sort of skill. It is then up to what you get out of them that sets them apart and thats what proves Noble is not up to the task

he is a dead man walking as they say.
We know it
The players know it
He knows it.
The hardest job in the game is, under those circumstances - impossible.

IL has been trying to get a new coach so even if he had a heavy night on the scrumpy (nothing works like scrumpy) and gave him a new contract everyone would know it was his second best option.

He should simply have been told it would not be renewed then he could have said he was going at the end of the season regardless. Everyone would have known where they stood and no one would have been left looking like they have backed down or lost face.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery....... I will look to the moment, and miraculously, the future will take care of itself. Radio 5 Live, Sat, April 14th, 2007,...Dave Whelan, "In Wigan, rugby will always be king" 'I was certain, positive, convinced, and yet..........unsure' 'It's only rock 'n' roll, but I like it' Worry will not prevent destiny from unfolding.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3632.jpg
