When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

Toe curlingly cringing, embarrassing, distressing, obscene, scandalous, ill thought out are there any more superlatives that can describe this decision by the once great club that I love 'Wigan R.L.F.C' to sell off the rights to become a mascot.
This is something the club have always done for 'free' and to give something back to the community. Now it seems the club have sold it soul for a few extra copper. This surely doesn't fit in with IL vision of Wigan becoming a more community-based club.
I don't give a flying f if some other clubs do it (I don't know of any) I don't expect my club to sink to such depths.
I dispair........

Pretty low thing for the club to do, and I'm certainly not in favour of it, in fact I'd like to see Lenegan listen to the fans opinion's on the matter and stop these tactless auctions.
