I've grown to appreciate him much more now I'm older but I was brought up to know that Edwards and Farrell we're Wiganers and there was always extra admiration for them on the terraces. At the time Henry Paul was is his prime, I was 9 or 10 and had started to enjoy and understand playing the game and he was somebody I really enjoyed watching and tried replicating things he did in games. I chose Brett Kenny because out of all overseas imports, he seems to be revolutionary, extraordanary and the leading example of any overseas player. Finally Trent Barrett is the latest legend in the modern era, in pretty much new game.
Ellery Hanley was probably better than all of them, but the others probably mean more to me. |
