sorry if anyone here likes mark riddell but i think he is a total waste of money who has not made a good name for himself in the wigan shirt.
now if i was lenagan i would of kept higham and havin spoke to higham a few times he said personally he owuld drop wages to of stayed with us, which really is dedication and thats the sort of player you want in your team well i would.
ino its only 15 games in but he should of done sumthing by now and hes not leading the team at the front at dummy half.
last of all though i would love to tell him if i was coach that he was goin now and id send him back OZ and use tommy l in a hooker with smith n tomkins half backs with mike mclorum on the bench as the impact player.

Riddells not performed but i would rather have him than Higham! Did Higham even play yesterday? Seriously? I didnt notice him once.

Riddell is not better or worse than Higham for me. They are both average hookers. I always say Higham did sod all for Wigan in matches away from the JJB. I stand corrected if anyone can point to something but I can't remember anything. Think only 2 of his 17 tries for Wigan came in away matches.

i was sadly glad not to be there yesturday as im in newcastle at a wedding but wen he came on he was quite n i kept watchin him and he tore us apart on the back plays when we could'nt be botherd running back 10 but to me higham far better player international experiance. riddell on the other hand crap in england and not the best in OZ so you tell me.

he put heart and soul into our club even if he was at saints he loved this club more than anything and was upset when he left.

If we needed someone who put their heart and soul into the club in every game but has no skill then lets just put some fans out there on the pitch. For me Higham was the worst hooker on the pitch yesterday. Including that shocking singer at the beginning

darting from the dummy half twice in one game may be enough to please the hookers union president Stevo. TBH at times last night it was piggy on his own trying to get some organisation from our runners.

if we had won last night, even by the the smallest fraction. there would not be these 20 odd threads slating individual players.

give it a rest, its boring.

we lost becasue of one thing - we ran around like headless chickens with no organisation at all.

Riddells not been good enough so far is a fair comment. Hes not been bad but he hasnt really had any influence on the team or the way we play. Give him time he may come good yet but if he doesnt the club should try and let him go on a mutual agreement so he can go home at the end of the season.

To say McIllorum is better is a short sighted comment as well. Hes a decent player mind just nothing special. I would give him time to prove otherwise but I would not put him at the centre of our plans for the future at this moment in time.

Thomas Leuluai is our best 9. I believe Lenegan has said as much that hes after a half back so Tommy can feature at 9 more in future seasons.

wernt no running chances last night ,how many tackels did higham make and knock the ball out.his kick chase was spot on aways first down the pitch work rate far better than other 3 ,what did the others offer ,nothing at all

Higham was a pretty decent player at Saints and has not done too badly up to now with the Wire. But didn,t perform at Wigan.

Riddell was a decent player in NRL the past few years, but has,nt really performed for Wigan.

Been disappointed with Riddell thus far.

Thought he'd offer a lot more creativity, and hopefully have brought some plays with him from the Eels.

Unfortunately not. If/when Smith returns, I really can't see a spot for Riddell in the side.

In contrast, McIlorum is playing superbly well. His distribution from the PTB still needs slight improvement however his runs from dummy half and defensive work is unbelievably good.

Riddell has been a poor signing IMO, I had not seen enough of him to say anything before he played, everyone thought he would be quality but he has shown none of this appart from maybe one pass at Salford. Makes you wonder how much more solid a team we would be had we signed a world class half back and had Leuluai and McIlorum interchanging at hooker.

Another disapointing performance but the real problem was that our props just got owned big time.

I thought Adrian Morley was immense.

Not seen much quality from Piggy im afraid.
