| Improvement. Defence was solid. The main thing Noble needs to do now is concentrate on attack and get rid of Fielden.
I for one was expecting a 20 - 30 point drumming, but im happy with tonight.

| Fielden was pretty awful.
Even though we lost, i'm not really disappointed, that was a massive performance from Wigan.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

| Thought tonight was a good effort from Wigan, and I can take defeats as long as the effort is there. A massive improvement in my opinion. There are still aspects to improve on, we did miss a few opportunities, such as when we had 3/4 consecutive sets of 6 in front of the Saints line, we should have scored from that. But overall I thought we did well and was expecting us to lose by a lot more than 7 points

I'm more disappointed than I thought I would be, simply because we more than matched them tonight. We hit harder in defence, ran well and were dominant throughout - we just lacked it when it counted in attack and when Saints got some open play. I really thought we could win it.
That said, they won it on a lucky bounce, and I would've given Hock's try.
Well done. Proud of yer!

| We were so much better tonight. Massive improvement across the board.
We need to back it up against Catalan and go to France and win.

You don't. As you quite rightly point out you won. However, I think only the most blinkered of Saints fans would argue that you weren't outplayed tonight and had we had the 'bounce of the ball' would have won quite easily. Maybe you find that an irrelevance, but as we haven't been playing particularly well, we don't....

Not a Saints fan, but no, you didn't deserve to win,Thats reserved for the team with the most points Ainscoes second try was a mile forward( sky plussed it and it was at least 5m forward), Tompkins clearly raking the ball out of Pauleta's grasp, ref missed massive knock on, Hock was short and double movement. you had no invention up front as was shown by the 5 sets on saints line, you've played 2 games more than everyone else, and your still outside the top 8, its a good job there is no relegation.

| How on earth can we play like we did last night after how we did against Barrow. Wigan are the most frustrating RL team in the world.
Is this another flash in the pan or can we kick on?

Exactly, we played very well against a poor Bradford, we played superb last night against a resolute Saints team but play like cack for a lot of other games.
The players need to look at themselves in the mirror as they are cheating themselves, us and Noble when they play poor.
We know they are capable of far more than they have shown and last night they showed what they can do.
As for flash in the pan, you know it
