He can’t pass , his tackling is suspect at times but I think he’s been great for Wigan . Probably takes more ‘hit ups’ than any other player , always gives 100% and really excelled when asked to play full back . I for one will miss his honest endeavour . Good luck to him

I don't know who'll be our starting centre alongside Gildart next season. Lam is preferring Sarg to Hankinson and perhaps Bibby or possibly Hardaker with French to FB.

I think he has been great lately. His form since his rumoured departure and for me his commitment to going out a winner has been very impressive.

I know he isn’t highly rated by many, but I think he will be a big pair of boots to fill for us, especially when it’s not clear publically at least who will be replacing him.

I thought Bibby/Hankinson were here to replace him? You also have the option of French or Hardaker so there are a few variables open to us.

For the amount of flaws in his game (handling,passing,defence) he’s been a decent player for us. He’s won plenty of trophies and got international honours too. I wish him all the best at Salford.

Should of had another season but I suppose it's down to the cap.

Sarginson is the kind of player that every club needs, absolute workaholic.

You think back to the squad we had in 2006 and it was players like Sarginson that we really lacked, hard working honest and brave players that would not take a backwards step.

Playing in the game after his brother passed away was something else, then speaking to sponsors and supporters after winning MOTM in that game can't have been easy for him - he's been a very good player for us.

You can't knock Sarginson. Gives his absolute all every game. He comes across as a top bloke too. Great signing for Salford. All the best to him.

Has been 10x the player, for Wigan, that Gelling was. But he doesn’t merk about making rap music or ride a BMX so he’s crap & can’t pass.
