| I’ve been a huge critic of both George Williams and Sam Powell this season but I thought GW was superb tonight and Powell went well as well.
Best performance since Warrington at Magic IMO. Greenwood was another who was awesome tonight. His and GW link up was brilliant and seemed to cause so many problems for the Saints defence.
Our defence was brilliant as well throughout the game. It set the bar and put us on the front foot making Saints barely trouble us with the exception of that superb Makinson try at the end of the first half.
Credit where it’s due; all in all that was a superb display.

Again, I’ve been a huge critic of SW but credit to the bloke, he set us up right and had us firing on most cylinders.

| Best performance all year, possibly for a few years. Wonderful rugby - brutal defence and free flowing attack. Couldn't remember an unforced error bar the last 10 minutes. All the credit in the world to the team. Saints will be back but they looked a broken mess towards the end of the game.
Greenwood was exceptional.

| I've been a massive critic of performance over the last few years of Wane, but that performance was superb.
If we play like that for the rest of the season we win the GF.
Let's hope we can.

| Whatever people may say about Shaun Wane, it's clear that the players are right behind him, and that showed tonight in an excellent display. Just seeing Gilly score that try just a few yards in front of me was fantastic! Let's keep in going now!

| It was a superb performance and overall a pretty decent game too. I thought once we held them out for the good spell they had in the middle of the first half we were in control of the game. It was really good to see some quality tries too.
I think for us it’s now really important to back that performance up with another next week and really kick on and challenge for the GF.

| Williams back to his best.
Gildarts step of barba
Greenwood’s offloads
Lockers try
Hamlins fend on Wilkin before the Bateman try
Sam Powell’s defence
Even Oli Partington nailing Luke Thompson as soon as he came on the field
We were back to our physical imposing best, mixed in with some fluid attack.
The players seem to have sorted there heads out and our ready for the charge to Old Trafford.
The passion on show from the players when Gildart scored was something else.

| Best performance in a long time, defence was superb, for most of the game and we actually looked like a team in attack. Escare looked a threat in broken play - Greenwood was excellent - I was very impressed that when he made a break he didn't panic and throw a bad pass he showed good decision making. All the forwards went well - some very strong hit ups, Navarrette made some good yards and I thought Hamlin looked busy and effective when he came on - looks like a good signing.
And to stop Saints collecting the LLS was the icing on the cake!

| There wasn’t a player you could fault and you can just tell we’re on now and ready to have a real tilt at getting to and winning at Old Trafford.
He wasn’t our best player but I’ll pick out Sam Powell for real praise. He has struggled his backside of this season in the halves but back in his proper position he was superb. His mental toughness to bounce back from that tough patch is a credit to him.

| I just hope players like Hamlin and Navarrete keep their places once Tautai’s ban is over.

It'll be criminal if Tautai gets straight back in, not a patch on the props who played last night.
Is it just me or was the "finding your front asap" tactic binned last night in favour of trampling the opposition into the ground ?
