| He won't last, that team overall isn't good enough to win anything. Koukash is way too volatile and he thinks throwing money around will win him titles. He has half a good team at the moment, half a team doesn't win trophies. By next season with the age of that team he will have 3 or 4 good players and the rebuilding will start all over again.
Harris is on a hiding to nothing, as was Noble.

Couldn't agree more. There beat signing was Hansen and its sad that he went for the cash (only my opinion)

I can't say, it's hard to know how much influence he had, only Wane and the players can answer that one.

| I'm not overly fussed to be honest.
When i look back to the Madge era you could see the impact that Wane as a number 2 had on the side. I've not heard much on the grapevine about Harris and i've not heard many people singing his praises either.
I'd argue that he has two main roles at Wigan;
1- Look after the attack - Seeing that It's still mainly the wrap around move and not evolved that much since he took over does leave him open to criticism.
2- Offer something different to Wane - Again under Madge, Wane was the slightly softer guy. Madge could be very, clinical and tough in the way he operated. Wane on the other hand offered a different approach especially to the younger lads who were waiting in the wings.
You knew Wane had something about him and that he was next inline. Can you honestly say the same about Harris?
If Harris does leave then i think we should cast our net outside of the club and bring in someone to offer something a little different from not only the 'Wigan Way' but also SL. I'd like someone with a decent attacking skill set who has a grasp on the latest techniques in place in the NRL.
Who knows they could take over Wane one day.

| One has to assume that Harris would have been expected to take over when Wane leaves, as the coach-in-waiting, so the fact they were willing to let him go tells me Wigan didn't have that in their long term plan. Perhaps Harris has decided to jump before the decision about his future had to be made.
Salford is going to be a tough place to be successful enough to stay for the long term, so how long before Harris becomes unemployed? And who would go to Salford next?

| Odd that so many people make an assumption that because a person leaves, it's because they have been virtually forced out.. Could be he decided to leave himself..... Just a thought...

I think it's difficult to get away from the poor showing by Wales in the World Cup.
No doubt those eager to find problems at the club will now jeer at those who "suddenly don't rate Harris any more" as happy clappers. But the undeniable reality is that Harris has done nothing impressive as a first team coach, and he's now 37 - so it's not like he's still learning the job.
The only question we need ask ourselves is do we want him to take over the top job at Wigan. If the answer is no, then that's all we need to know.

Really? Not too sure about that. They have a handful of "marquee" individuals, who are probably better than 3 or 4 of others there put together. But I'm still not convinced there's a deep enough squad to properly contend (I still think they might squeak into 8th though).
Harris might have bitten off a bit more than he can cope with with this move (good luck to him though), and I simply fail to see Koukash's logic. If Nobby wasn't up to the job, what does he think Harris can bring, except how to manage a really bad Welsh team? (or badly manage the Welsh team - delete as required).

| I just don't see him as having the charisma to be a head coach.
I have said all along I don't get the hype about Salford, their team is average at best and Noble was a shocking appointment. With Harris sadly I think it could be a frying pan to fire scinario.
