I have just subcribed to the TV,so I presume that the fans that are making the trip will be proberbly sat at Birch Services sat round a couple of laptops and realising that they have made a wise dicision in view of the team Wigan have put out. |

The game is pay on the gate so if you'd like to stand over in the East Stand I hope you'll be made to feel very welcome. Can't promise that because we - as is well publicised on these forums - do have our own element of idiots. Can't see it being a problem for a friendly though and as there'll be so few of you I think it'll be some good banter.

cant see any reference to the match in the local radio listings in either Wigan or Hull.

Cheers for that bit of info Rogues.
Just found out where I was mistaken,Dave Bolton was injured on the 25th Dec 1956.
I thought he missed the rest of the season,but he didn't,he missed the next 6 matches before coming back on the 2nd Feb 1957.
The Leeds match you mention was on the 9th of Feb,he then broke his leg and missed the rest of the season and the first 3 matches of the following season.

Fair play to Silverwood. Penalised us for not playing the ball with the foot, then on the next set Hull KR did the same...I was just about to slag him off and he gave us the penalty.
He does however needs to keep it going for the rest of the match.
