| Enough of the internet squabbling, I'm looking forward to this one immensely and am very hopeful of a Leeds win, preferably with no reffing controversy. Also looking forward to a couple of beers with some of you lot, bit o banter maybe and at the very least some crack about what should be a great game.
And should Wigan win ( you don't) you'll no doubt have deserved it.
All the best.

| Much better thread! Hopefully the team who plays the best rugby league on the day will win. Im hoping that we arent left with any lingering dodgy decisions form the officials as well. I hope both semi finals are a credit to rugby league and may the best teams on each day win (Hopefully Wigan on one of them ).

Agree with the sentiment of the thread. Hopefully it will be a good game, will enjoy the game, the atmosphere and touch wood the result!!
Confident there will be decisions that go against both teams, but agree hope there is no big mistakes that cost the game.

| let's hope it's the skills of the players on the field at both games that decide the result. last thing we need is a game clinching try or penalty kick that comes from a blatantly wrong referee's decision.
Good luck to all 4 teams, do Rugby league proud

| It'll be a hell of a game I hope but I'm going for Leeds to win again as they have the knack of doing it when needed.

| I can't wait for both games this weekend, it actually feels like the play offs have started and not before time.
I don't understand why people get so wound up with all the banter that flys round. It's part and parcel of these games and adds to the occasion. The fans have been getting stuck in to each other and so have the players(a little) and it's all set up for a classic this Friday night.
May the best team win? As long as that's Wigan then great but I'm not going to sit here and say I hope it's a great game. I want it to be dominated from minute 1 to minute 80 by Wigan but it won't be and we all know that.
This could go either way, roll on Friday.

| Going to France and winning in such an intense match may have some bearing on how fresh the Leeds players are. The forwards in particular were getting really stuck in but on the plus side the Rhinos will have some momentum coming into this game & I just hope that we've utilised our week off to come out fresh & firing.
With potentially no Danny McGuire then Leeds will have to do some reshuffling and it could be disruptive. We have slammed them twice this season in the league and if we play to anywhere near our potential we will beat Leeds and beat them comfortably. Alright, they beat us in the cup but we were really off our game that day and I think that is what it will take for us to lose.
It's in our hands. Turn up on friday and we'll be within 80 minutes of Grand Final glory. If we turn up slightly off our game then Leeds have the players and the big match experience to capitalise.
I can't wait!

Who's reffing on Friday?
Sadly, They can hold the key!
It shouldn't be important, but regrettably it seems to be just that nowadays.

Pretty much this.
It's strange how many Leeds fans think they've got this divine right to be in the Grand Final though, just reading through their forums, and saw this little pearler...
Quote: cadoo "Can see Saints beating Warrington. Will be another Leeds vs Saints final but wouldn't be too heartbroken if Saints won it. Think their due one against us!'"
Wait....... what? May aswell not bother on Friday then eh!
