balls to watchin them two at wembley could think of nothing worse!

I nearly always stay at liverpool st when i go down, can get a bus aswell form outside the station to the olympic park.

Tube to picadilly, then bakerloo line to wembley..40mins tops.

Or go to baker street and theres a wetherspoons thats always packed with rugby fans.

I go every year regardless so got myself a good deal, although If it is those 2 me and my mates have decided it's just gonna be a weekend in London without the rugby, being sat in between them 2 is my worst nightmare

Got tired of rip off hotel prices (or -poor quality) in the Capital, and daft Virgin prices as of late, so for the past few years we have driven down and stayed in towns outside the captial at (decent) hotels with free car parking.
Then travelling into London / Wembley by train on the 'group tickets' scheme they have down there is relatively cheap.

The Great British R & B Festival (real rhythm & blues) at Colne also that weekend.

We go down mid morning Thurs and back mid morning Sun... very limited Virgin advance deals available

A far cry from Murrayfield when we got a first class group return ticket for 4 for £100! (yep, £25 each )

From Chesterfield it's cheaper to buy a first class return than a super off peak return. Bizarre.

If we don't get there then it's just a weekend away. Couldn't watch a Leeds and Wire final.

What time's the 1st train to Chesterfield.

I'm booked on Thursday till Sunday and if it's Leeds vs Wire final it'll be tough viewing but I'd still go. It'll be two top sides (Leeds will turn up for the big games trust me) going at each other and it's always a good occasion.

May need to get drunk though.

I'll be staying at home then catching the 614 to Queensbury and then the tube, even Hudds v Wigan will still be there
