It would be interesting to see the comments of Wigan fans on how to voice our feelings about the shamboloic way the whole episode of the venue for the Wigan V Saints quarter final has been handled.
What would make IL,Whelan,BBC and Sky sit up and take notice.

I will certainly not be going to the game if it is anywhere but the JJB Stadium. I certainly do not blame the BBC for wanting to show the plum tie of the round, a privilege which they have paid to show. Indeed if it had happened in previous seasons, before Sky got secondary rights, then the scenario would have been exactly the same and no one would be taking about swapping to a Friday night game.

We need to know the facts.
Is there really a 24 hour rule?
What is the logistics of getting the stadium ready for another game and why cant this be done in a day?

The RFL are managing it for MM weekend, only difference a few more yards of white lines, catering , cleaning, divots , mowing pitch etc will all be done in a shorter turn round. |

I agree mate but without having facts on the actual rules about how long is permissable between games we cannot input any valuable solutions.
As I have said I would be quite happy to volunteer to clear up the terraces on the Saturday to have it ready for the Latics game on the Sunday - but what are the facts? |

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Kick 50 rugby balls onto the field from each corner of the stadium for latics next game. Imagine the game being put on hold while they clear rugby balls off the field, it would be on MOTD!

| I don't care about Whelan, he doesn't care about me.All I care about is Wigan Rugby  I'll be going if it's at Leigh, Bolton or Wigan no way am I letting Whelan make me miss a Wigan v Saints cup quarter final. As Wane has said, we'll play them anywhere, any time. All that matters to me is a win. |
