| Why replace Noble mid-season?
Is Lam up to it anyway? He coached PNG in the World Cup. But was that good enough to be running to him now?
I think we should be sticking with a coach who is improving the club slowly. I think next year will be our year.

Totally agreed, there is no advantage in changing the coach in mid season IMO

Great minds think alike ........ or equally stupid ones, we will see at the end of the season, the team has proved what it can be made of when they all step up to the plate, I am not certain we can put it all down to just one man.

| Never been a fan of Lam as Wigan coach. He just doesn't have the coaching experience.
Whether Noble gets the boot before the end of the season depends (obviously) on results and also IL's attitude to sacking a coach. The Saints result has gone a long way to ensuring he will see his contract out IMO.
However if out of the next set of fixtures we only beat Salford and Celtic the pressure will be back on and the cheaper it will be to pay him off the further into the season we go. If that happened with the results whether IL would not want to be seen as a chairman to sack a coach or if he felt he had to appease the fans will be interesting to see.

| I'd be happy for him to come as an assistant with a view to taking over a couple of years down the line but hasn't the experience at the moment.

I see what you are saying but I think I would rather see him at another club and see where he can take them as head coach before he got a job as head coach at Wigan. He is still young and a top bloke, maybe a future Wigan coach. Right now though Mr Noble is in charge lets support him while he is and we can still have a great season.
All of this is in relation to nothing

| There are just as many "rumours" about Justin Morgan coming to Wigan as there are about Lam.
Morgan has a track record of coaching in Super League and a pretty good one at that. Lam hasn't coached a first team yet.
Agree that Noble is in charge and the team is improving every week.
We have won the last three, if the next three are victories then Noble will get another contract surely.

You are easily pleased. Six victories in a row gets you a new deal here? I hope he must do more than that!
Of course the decision could already have been made regardless of future results whether he stays or goes.
