From the hour mark onwards today, you couldn't help but notice and applaud the dedication of the fans sticking together and showing the lads what it really means to be a true fan.
Often down the years, I've taken comfort in the fact than when we were getting grotesquely pasted by a superior team, "at least we kept the chant going".
Today, it was great that evryone kept the chant going.
It really was.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league

To be fair, we was all still chanting 15 mins after the stadium had emptied, on the PA system " can the wigan warriors fans please leave the terracing"

Some of us pride ourselves on good support, we go to SUPPORT the team, not just be a fan or stand there to watch (which I don't have a problem with). Some of us like to get behind the team. We showed today that we will do that under any circumstances even when getting beat.
The drummer boys are wire were about 12. I saw them today outside the ground.
It wasn't just somebody banging a drum though, our end was bouncing and it was quality. Made a rubbish game enjoyable.
I like a good sing song and I like it when we use it to get behind our players.
