I've got around 7'' of snow keeping me near house bound in Burley in Wharfedale. I've been to see my mum in Yeadon and they must be 10'' of snow on the ground there.

It started snowing around 10am and is still going strong now.

My SKY TV keeps packing in because snow sticks to the dish, so I have to keep going out and knocking it off every 20 minutes or so. Thank god the internet has got plenty of things to keep me entertained. But if that packs in then cabin fevers next.

Manchester is like 1/4 of an inch in the city centre, i'm quite glad tbh last year in Manchester it was chaos.

Very little down in Stafford, a few inches in Stoke, but back home in Chesterfield there looks to be about a foot, Sheffield is even worse.

Not much here in Manchester, though my mate in Sheffield is having loads of fun having snowball fights etc, git! Anyone been over Gathurst hill recently? Nearly did my car in there last year.

just come from back of south east england by train to manchester bus to leigh.

most of england cover under 2 to 3 inches even parts of salford and swinton get to leigh just a thin cover of ice on the floor
