A strangely disappointing 12 and a half k.

Not really sure why the crowd took such a hit from last week, obviously over 2k didn't turn up from last week. You could say maybe people were put off by two consecutive home fixtures at the start of the year in freezing cold temperatures but it would be quite a flimsy excuse.

A really poor crowd, but if you don't have a season ticket it really is too easy to stay at home and watch it on tele.

Shocking though, I hope we see better than that in future!

Was suprised and disapointed with the crowd. Rovers brought poor numbers, but low turnout from ourselves as well.

Can't stand watching Wigan on TV would much rather be in the crowd and then listen to the post match speeches in the the south stand bar...

it was a better atmosphere though tonight, whether that was because of the better away following or the drum being back in the east is anybody's guess....

We had 13700 last week and that was with maximum 40 away fans. I think tonight, the fact that the game was on telly, and the weather was so poor probably put a lot of people off.

It's half term. Lots of people off away. My lads rugby team has a 26 player squad and they will struggle to put a team out on Sunday for this reason.

Catalans is the next home fixture, so i expect a similar figure as tonight

Once the weather gets better and we have saints/wire/big one i think we should be around or above the 20k mark for those

The Catalans game might be improved back up to the 14k mark if we defeat Warrington and people are back off holiday breaks.

I'd be very surprised if it didn't.

well thats wiganers for you,ham fisted and tight, its no good keep making excuses for people in this town, they would rather spend thier money watching wigan teams in the pub, even though they probbably spend more on ale in the pub than they would by actually going to the game, theres absoloutley no reason there should have been anything less than 13500 on last night.
both warriors and latics suffer from the people of this town(no the ones who actually attend)being, tight, lazy, unloyal and generally tight moaning buggers, while the decent supporters amongst wiganers indulge in a game of mines bigger than yours between the latics and the rugby

Wish we could get half that gate, the weather was bad and on Sky don't think that would have helped.

It isn't an easy job to build up crowds. A good win last week but people were sceptical about the opposition. Crusaders have since proved they're no pushovers with a massive win at Salford. Beating Hull K R won't grab the headlines but if we can bury our bogey next week it will be another step towards getting a minimum of 15,000.
And, dare I say it, the demise of the Latics may help.
