WIGAN WARRIORS vs. WARRINGTON WOLVES

Wigan Warriors have received their allocation of tickets for the Carnegie Challenge Cup Semi Final fixture with Warrington Wolves to be played on Saturday 8th August at the Stobart Stadium Halton, Widnes (2:30pm kick off).

Match tickets will go on sale to existing season ticket holders from 9am on Wednesday 3rd June (one ticket per valid season ticket). In the event of any match tickets remaining, they will go on general sale from 9am on Wednesday 10th June.

This match has been designated as an all-ticket fixture and as such supporters are advised to purchase their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. These tickets are expected to be in high demand and as such are subject to availability.

The Ticket Office is open weekdays 9am-5pm and on Saturday 10am- 2pm and tickets can be bought either in person or by calling the Ticket Office Hotline on 0871 66 33552.(calls cost 10p per minute from BT landlines, call costs from other operators may vary.)

Coach Travel is also available via the JJB Stadium Ticket Office for this fixture, costing £9 for concessions and adult season ticket holders, £9.50 for adult non-season ticket holders. These will leave the JJB Stadium (adjacent to Car Park 3) at 12pm on match day.

The side stands are half and half each I think with each club getting an end to themselves.

I'll probably go in the West stand behind the goals. £18 though. Scandalous. I'm sure when we played there in the play-off tickets were about £15.

For those of you whose geography isn't good.

The South Stand is the main stand where the players tunnel is, nearest "The Cricketers" and is behind the touchline.

The West Stand is the one on the main road Lowerhouse Lane, and is behind the posts

The North Stand is where most of the supporters were for The Bradford "home" playoff game and is behind the touchline.

The East Stand behind the sticks is the smallest stand and has been allocated to the Wire fans.

Blocks b or c of the North stand for me i reckon.

Saying that i couldn't see the screen for the play off game so may go in the South.

What stand will you be going in? I Just don't want to be going in the West stand like I did for the playoff game and look to my left and see the North stand bouncing again.

ill be going in the west stand with the drum i think, same as the play off game last year against bradford! expecting a similar result, i expect it to be sold out comfortably by next wednesday.

Why pay £9 to get to Widnes?
That is a proper rip off!
