Marketing pulling out all the stops again I got a phone call other week off some university saying I d won 2 tickets for this quins game for filling in that questionaire on official site should be packed

Excellent work from Mick Hogan and the team, its so pleasing to see these sort of things in place and working. The rest of SL should really be taking notes.

They are, but not for the reasons you and I would expect.

Quite a few are now querying the ethics of this approach. They argue that, while it's within the rules of the game, it's hardly within the spirit.

One or two journalists appear to be more supportive of Wigan's approach, until you see that - in defending the club's latest publicity initiative, they are actually drawing extra attention to its apparently questionable nature - and are thus damning us with faint praise.

Unexpectedly, more positive views have come from Wire and Saints fans. Many have been quick to point out that they would defend Wigan's right to attract larger crowds in this way, though they always add the caveat "even if I don't personally like it".

ive not got a freebie ,so i will have to buy a ticket on the day , thats 1 sold at least. ( goes hunting for a freebie ticket )

If you read the op it says Heinz and Worthingtons have PURCHASED 4000 tickets between them.
