| I'm just going to leave this one out there.
Perhaps someone can enlighten me as to what our two ever do to even come close to justifying this status.
If you can think of something convincing, fine, great ... I'm more than willing to listen. But at present, it's starting to look like a very elastic term where Wigan are concerned.

| I think the Williams at 6 ‘experiment’ needs to end. He had a good three or four months there but that was a good while ago. Appalling to see him being one of the highest paid players in the game over here. Lenegan and Radlinksi owe the fans a lot of answers relating to our future direction and ambition.

| It’s getting boring now (sorry I’m not directly having a go at you, the OP) but this is after every poor performance. We have few players who can be classed as ‘stand-out’ never mind marquee.
Boring George isn’t worth £20k a year. Never mind the £2m we pay him a week, or whatever it is?!

| Half the team could go. Sam and Bateman are the only good players, the rest are bang average and with a massive wage bill, questions needs to be asked, rads can go for me

| I feel a bit sorry for Williams, at his core he’s an ‘off the cuff’ style of player but that’s not what coaches are looking for in the modern game and it’s stifled Williams who needs to have less structure imposed upon him.

| Our halves are an absolute embarrassment. Truest awful. I think some of that is down to Wane and other elements due to their own ability.
Jackson Hastings is looking for a move to SL and if we have any cap space to use we need to be trying to recruit him.

| The halves and pivots must take responsibility for our woeful lack of attack today.
Let's be honest, we made Wire's life very easy indeed by almost never threatening with ball in hand.
That was one of the worst no-shows in attack I've ever seen.

| Bateman was the only one who looked like he cared - the rest were lethargic and uncommited. Williams is poor - same thing all the time - stand too close to the line, catch the ball stop think about it then run around in a circle and get caught - Roberts and Brown played our halves off the park today. Even Sam T looked poor.
Some of the players in that team need a shake up by being dropped but Wane won't do that as too many of them are untouchable.

| Be warned You will have all the Wigan do gooders on your case if you call any of the prized assets that we currently have.

| How many times was it left to Farrell to put in a kick on the last?
But to be fair, his kicks were no worse than those put in by the two marquee players.
The nil in the scoreline says it all about that performance.

I don't see how anyone can support that performance today, it was without doubt one of the worst performances from a Wigan team in a big match in a very long time.
Even last season you could see the effort and I would not have doubted the heart in the team but today I would.

| I will also add this, Williams is obviously a very fit player but, is he fit for purpose?
By that I mean as a halfback he is very broadly built and while that may be his natural build it looks as though his conditioning has exacerbated that build and that’s not going to help him.
He looks as though he needs a more tailored conditioning programme that perhaps strips some of his muscle mass in favour of a more lean physique.
Just a thought!
I also think Wigan need an out and out half at the side of Williams to help free him up to play his more natural running game.

| Two marquee players
Two players who consider themselves too good for superleague and are off to the NRL
One club legend
One World Cup winner
One dual code international
Six internationals
No points.
Utter shambles.
