| Also, these obstruction plays; seems to me all too often forwards in front of the ball (like Dupree) just stand there like puddings. I just watched the Bulldogs (excellent), and twice Kikau was in that situation, and straightaway he ran sideways, straight out of the action. And, of course, play continued. Our forwards must learn to do the same. Either run right through the line wilthout running into anyone, or run sideways to get the hell out.

Should Mybe have seen red. On the replay I didn?t see any mitigation and he made f all attempt to wrap his arms
I think it would have been a red last season, in line with this seasons officiating i feel a yellow was fair, was worse than Walters challenge though, Bennison clearly slipped before that challenge, wouldn?t have been surprising if that was just a pen given.

| Our forwards did it tough yesterday, put in a great stint. Walters has to be the most improved player this year. Give from being occasional bench player to automatic pick.

| I think we cruised through the first half and due to the amount of Saints errors we didnt really look troubled. Second half we seemed to switch off and it could have cost us the game. TBF though, I dont think Saints ever looked like winning and our last try luckily killed off the game

We were essentially four first choice props down after Dupree went off, and not only that but we played with only 3 subs, with Forber not contributing. I think we were just knackered by the end. It'll be interesting how we approach the next couple of games. Could Eseh or Chan come back and contribute? Makin?

| Missed at the time apart from my son who commented on it at the match but we couldn't see the screen to confirm.
Clarke pushes Kruise out of the way at the ptb for Paasi's try at the end. Kruise is off balance and can't make a decent first contact on Paasi. Should have been a pen to wigan.

Eseh went ok in the Hull derby too putting himself about in defence however he is still nowhere near the player I thought he would be by now. Not sure what their availability is regards their loan deals however it?s bizarre to think a position we are so stacked in we may need to think about that option.

| When Eseh, Chan and Makin's loans were announced I didnt see any mention of a recall clause. At the same time I can't envisage the loan deal being done without some kind of recall after the first month.
Hope we have a recall we might need them if Walters gets a ban, shouldn't but you never know.

Good spot. I remember Morley always used to grab the first marker every time he played the ball stopping them from stepping out, he got away with it every single time.

Had to listen to the game on Aeroplane WiFi, on my way back from holiday and that was not mentioned. Only had chance to watch the game back today and I had the exact same thought. It should've been ruled out, just as ours was when Smith scored first half.
