| Is King Street still lively on Saturday nights these days, or has it gone like the rest of Wigan?
Genuine question, because if it is, it could prove a big draw for the likes of Sutton.

| I still don't see a path for Sambou.
He's not getting in front of Marshall as a winger and then there is Miski and Douglas. Despite his error leading to Leeds try I thought Douglas went well and looked decent.
He's also not replacing Wardle or Eckersley at centre and that's before Keighran and Nathan Lowe coming through.
The strange part is that there is a pathway at Saints opening up. Murphy will get injured and Feldt only has next year (part of me wonders even if he is at Saints next year) and we are short at centre.
His social media since the game has been strange too with him seemingly really happy.

Douglas is out of contract from what I can see. Saints could do worse than try and take him the other way. He impresses me whenever I see him.

I think Douglas will be moved on, if Sambou has been signed

| Agree with above plus he might leap Miski into a starting position if he keeps having issues with his knee

| I’ve just had it confirmed. Sambou has signed for Wigan, no backflip.

Douglas reminds me of Dom Manfredi in his early days. I haven't seen much of Sambou (although he did look good on Friday) but Douglas has all the potential in the world.

Great news. He looks in great shape so hopefully arrives in a good condition. Considering we have Miski and Marshall tied down for another 2.5 and 3.5 years respectively he might have to be quite patient.

| Stu M would probably be able to tell us but I think he can also play centre, so there may be opportunities there if Keighran moves on and they promote Eckersley to be the starting centre. It will be a balancing act for them now to make sure there is enough experience in there but that they can open up pathways for the young players.

| The way we play I think it’s highly unlikely any winger under the age of 24/25 can expect a start unless they are physical freaks.
We rely on wingers having a strong dominant carry and these lads need time to mature physically and develop both the strength and robustness to do that.

To be honest I've not seen a huge amount of his games but he played centre for the Academy and Reserves all throughout 2023. He scored a full-length try in a pre-season friendly with Salford last season (2024) but then got injured and missed the whole season.
