| Good to get Douglas some game-time anyway.

| We look very lethargic, low on confidence and clunky.
Leeming was poor which begs the question as to why Forber wasn’t used.
Ellis so far this year is underperforming.
I think we need to freshen up the pack this year, they look tired so a signing I think is needed.

| Off it, again. Attitude poor & lack of willing to do the hard stuff which has been missing since 60 mins in Vegas.
Good job it means ‘eck all at this time of year.

| Losing the game off the back of a header doesn't feel right. Don't understand that rule at all.
Thought Wigan were OK in the conditions. A few daft decisions in good ball but defensively we were decent. Losing Field obviously has a big impact - French just doesn't have the same level of fitness in that position.
Don't mind us facing a bit of adversity actually. Puts a bit more significance on each game.

| It's two points lost; of course it makes a difference. That ' level of fitness' you talk about, though, MadDogg, the problem is, whenever Field actually reaches that point, he seems to injure himself. I suppose the thinking is that he will play next week, though?

I think Field will probably play next against Hull KR.

It's a very good point and I think you're right. Annoying to lose any game but I've always felt this side needs some adversity to bounce back from, to find it's best. I thought we were ok tonight in the main. Leeds love this fixture and played with an intensity I've not seen much of this season. We're unfortunate with the header and Peet needs to start having some words with the refs bosses, to find out what we're doing so differently to other teams. We lost 80% of the penalty counts last year and it's just carried on. We're the first dominant force in Superleague history to consistently be on the wrong end of penalty counts (before we even move on to 6 against).

| I thought Farrimond wasn't really able to have an impact on the game last night, so we were pretty short in terms of creativity (yet still had a few opportunities that were missed by small margins). Despite his fumble leading to a Leeds try, I thought Douglas played well. He seems to punch above his weight when carrying out from the back.

| We lost ,move on (said that before)
Its a blip.as said we need some adversity to kick us up the ar*e,this will be sorted. To put it into context-Havard,O'Neil,Miski,Field,Keiron-all first teamers all missing,I know all teams have injuries but so do we.
Also how good are Wigan that when we lose it is a shock but when we win its not and it is expected.

I remember when headers became knock ons after saints did a few of these https://www.youtube.com/shorts/q2xSbNYfUgI style="font-size: 13px;"> I was pretty convinced the Leeds try was going to be disallowed , but it was given , didnt realise the rules had changed back at some point .

| Might be wrong but I thought the rule was you couldn't deliberately head it forward, fair to say Hall new precious little about what happened, good luck for Leeds, bad for us
