It was good to see him beautifully remembered as the headline news he deserved to be today. A legend that transcended the game in the most poignant of ways. I genuinely shed a tear watching the news earlier. To see the light in his eyes still burning fiercely as his body wasted away around him was both truly dreadful and inspiring in equal measure. Both he and Kevin Sinfield should have been knighted while Rob was still with us.
RIP what a player what a person strong until the end .Condolences to his family even made opening headline news about his death a legend that should never be forgotten.Like other posters say stand up and clap 7 mins into Wembley RFL should give him tribute on Saturday.
Been on holiday for 9 days, absolutely gutted for Rob and his young family.
To be struct down at his age and to watch him go through what he has had to endure has been horrible.
To see a once proud man deteriorate these last few years must have heart breaking for his family.
At least he is out of pain now.
RIP Rob (Beep-Beep).
